If you’re catching a Qantas flight soon be sure to pay attention to the new inflight safety video commemorating the airline’s 100 years. The video takes you decade by decade through Qantas’ history and in the 90s you’ll see footage of Wunala Dreaming, the very first aircraft in the Balarinji/Qantas Flying Art Series, along with the Balarinji-designed Aboriginal motif crew uniforms.
In 2019 we celebrated 25 years since the launch of Wunala Dreaming. It was intended to be a three month promotion, but the joy and recognition Wunala Dreaming inspired all around the world kept it in the sky, including a re-paint, for 17 years.
