BOUTIQUE ART INSTALLATIONS
Nespresso first approached Balarinji to create a signature piece of art for the launch of its flagship Pitt Street Mall boutique in Sydney’s CBD. Made of 4,416 coffee capsules, 'Bush Path' was the first of 9 installations, repurposing a total of more than 17,000 capsules, in Nespresso boutiques around the country. Featuring detail images from the Balarinji Collection owned by the National Museum of Australia, the works give context to Swiss brand Nespresso in its Australian market.
As the founding sponsor of Indi Kindi, the Aboriginal early learning program from Balarinji’s affiliated not-for-profit Nangala Project, Nespresso helps improve the global learning readiness of very young remote region children entering pre-school and school.
