AW Edwards has a historical connection to the Manning Valley region and requested the engagement of a locally endorsed artist from that area.
The artwork design was based on an original canvas artwork by Raechel Saunders from the Biripi Nation on the NSW Mid North Coast.
Raechel is known for her intricate dot paintings, realistic paintings of Australian birds, striking clay masks, and playful clay geckos.
The artwork titled ‘Rainbow’ represents the hope that the rainbow brings after the rain. A celebration of Raechel’s land, people and Creation.
